Master Gardeners can earn service hours with HOH

Master Gardeners in Fairfax County (GSEMG and FCMGA) can receive service hours for serving as a mentor to Hands On Harvests gardeners.

As a mentor, you may

• Join the mentor teams in HOH community gardens in Falls Church and the HOH demonstration garden in Annandale.

• Provide email and phone support as well as conduct site visits to gardeners with questions.

• Share useful information or write posts for the newsletter and social media.

• Give workshops or presentations to HOH gardeners.

MGs who volunteer as HOH mentors should fill out this form after each mentorship occasion in addition to reporting their hours to the VCE agent.
